The theme for the year was “Growing The Category” and with more than 80 exhibitors and 2500 visitors, that is exactly what took place on the 28th of July at the South San Francisco Conference Center. 

Jocelyn Sheltraw, Industry Relations at Headset Speaks at The Cannabis Drinks Expo 22

The conference floor - Oyster Point Room saw a strong wave of information, panels and innovation all day long. Kickstarted by Jocelyn Sheltraw was a discussion on What Investors are looking for in 2022-23 and where is the money going. Luke Anderson, Co-Founder at Cann took over the stage immediately after and gave some stellar pointers on how to raise and allocate funds in early years, something that can only come with experience.

Paulo Sobral concluded the first session with a powerful panel discussion on how to navigate the distribution landscape.

The visitors, exihibitors and conference speakers enjoyed buzzing candid conversations over lunch and took lots of photographs to remember the new connections they made that day. 

Session 2 on the conference floor was opened by Cailey Greenberg from the Boston Beer Company, that also had a booth at the exhibition floor. Speakers rocked the stage until 3pm, and the house was full every single time.

The visitors kept pouring in even until 5pm, when they were redirected towards the Barbary Coast Dispensary at 952 Mission St for the afterparty.

The afterparty was packed with exhibitors that resumed their conversation from the conference and displayed more products, more details and more growth for the category.
