Alex Lamphier serves as Senior Corporate Counsel to Columbia Care, one of the nation’s largest and most experienced cultivators, manufacturers and providers of cannabis products to the medical and adult-use markets, with licenses in 18 U.S. jurisdictions and the EU. In his work with Columbia Care, Alex plays a pivotal role in supporting the company’s business development activities- working with executives and other key organizational leaders to drive M&A transactions and other strategic initiatives- in addition to supporting the company’s market leaders and other core business units with daily commercial legal needs. Prior to joining the team at Columbia Care, Alex was an associate attorney in Vicente Sederberg’s Boston office, where he represented clients ranging from start-up cannabis businesses to prominent multi-state operators as a member of the office’s corporate practice group.

Alex holds a bachelor’s degree from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and a juris doctor from Boston College Law School. In his free time, Alex enjoys cooking, fishing, playing golf and enjoying the outdoors with his wife, Haley, and son, August.
