Pamela N Epstein Esq

Pamela is a highly accomplished legal professional with expertise in the cannabis and hemp industries. Pamela currently serves as the Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer for Terpene Belt, Inc. Pamela brings a wealth of legal expertise, a deep understanding of cannabis and hemp regulations, and a passion for the industry to her role. She plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s legal strategies and ensuring compliance in the dynamic and ever-evolving cannabis market for the Company and its customers.
Throughout her career, Pamela has demonstrated a strong commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in legislation and regulation enabling her to provide invaluable legal advice and guidance. Prior to her position with Terpene Belt in 2022, Pamela served as the General Counsel and Chief Licensing & Regulatory Officer for Eden Enterprises, Inc. She started her impact on the cannabis industry in 2015 as a Founder of E&F Consulting, LLC providing consulting services to clients in Arizona. Pamela has been a thought leader on cannabis issues since 2016 as the Founder and CEO of Green Wise Companies, where she provided a variety of legal, consulting and government affairs services to all facets of the cannabis supply chain. She continued to be a trusted source of information on cannabis matters to regulatory agencies and municipalities serving as the Special City Attorney for cannabis matters to the City of Hollister guiding the City through its first Medical Cannabis Ordinance and application process in 2018. Prior to her work in cannabis Pamela fused her passion for environmental sustainability for the law firm of Adams Broadwell Joseph & Cardozo in South San Francisco and as the Managing Attorney and Legal Program Coordinator for the San Diego Chapter of the Sierra Club’s Environmental Law & Policy Clinic.
Pamela’s diverse background, inclusive of legal, land use, and environmental work, placed her in a unique position to lead and advise her clients and the cannabis and hemp community in general. She is known in her community as an expert in her field and a fearless advocate for the normalization and advancement of cannabis. She is a featured speaker across the county at cannabis traditional market conferences, hemp and legal educational webinars. She delivers energetic and compelling commentary on a broad range of issues affecting the cannabis and hemp industries and how traditional market actors can navigate entering the space.
Pamela is in her second term as President of the Board of Directors of the county's largest cannabis trade association the California Cannabis Industry Association (“CCIA”). She is a Member and Chairs the Committee on Standards for the American Trade Association for Cannabis and Hemp (“ATACH”) and actively participates, leading a standard on Determining Intoxication of Cannabinoids for ASTM’s D37 Committee for Cannabis and Hemp.
