Bringing their passion for brewing to life, Jim Koch discovered the ancestral recipe of the Louis Koch Lager which was developed by his great-great-grandfather. In 1948, Jim went on to introduce craft-brewed beers to Americans. These beers were full-flavored, balanced, complex, and brewed with quality ingredients. As the demand for craft beers increased, Jim Koch along with Rhonda Kallman went on to start The Boston Beer Company. Soon becoming a catalyst of the American craft beer revolution, their beers became the best in Boston and now they brew for several brands. Their range of beer was named Samuel Adams after the nation’s great founding father.

Using the world’s finest ingredients to make their beers, Jim and his team select the best hops, barley, and other ingredients that go into each brew. He annually visits Bavaria to select the best hops. Over the year, Boston Beer Co. has come up with various innovations including a Beer with natural ingredients and no preservatives, Samuel Adams Boston Lager Pint Glass, and Samuel Adams Boston Lager Cans.
